The Constitution of India,which governs the world's largest democracy has just celebrated 71 years...Although the constitution was completed and accepted on November 1949 itself,it came into effect only on January 26 ,1950, as a remembrance of the "purna swaraj " proclamation done by the Indian National Congress against the British three decades back...there are many such interesting facts about our constitution that we have not paid much attention to...
As the proud citizens of this country it is our duty to know about the story of our constituion,how was it drafted,how it came into effect and what are the key components...It is very essential for us to know this, so as not to be fooled in the very name of our constitution which was created to protect us...it is an irony though....so keep following our blog for further posts
